Lily Jade Elizabeth

Lily Jade Elizabeth in Camel

Another lovely Lily Jade bag!  I love my Madeline Bag, but they have so many great bag options that I had to try another one.  This bag is wider than the Madeline, but really not by much.  I thought it was going to be a lot bigger and when I received it I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't huge.  It has great exterior pockets and of course it comes with a soft, silky insert with about 20 pockets for everything you need.  I love how organized the insert is and I tend to use it even if I'm not using a Lily Jade bag.  I love that the bag is made out of excellent materials like genuine leather and smooth premium poly fabric and smooth zippers, but it's not unreasonably priced like many leather bags on the market.  These bags are the best price for the best quality that I have found so far.

There are two nice and roomy bottle pockets on the sides.  They don't really stretch, but all the bottles and water bottles I have tried have fit fine with a little room to spare.

There are two pockets on the front that close with a snap.  I can fit my phone, keys, lip products and other small essentials in these areas.

On the back and the front there are these great sized pockets that go down the entire length of the bag.  I like these pockets for papers like receipts, grocery lists, medical records and magazines.

This is the interior without the insert and you can see that it's nice and spacious with that gorgeous red lining.  I wish all my bags had this silky material because everything slips in and out so easily.  Plus it makes it easy to wipe down.

The bottom has four little feet and I think they do help protect the bag a little, but it could use another foot in the center for sure.

Here is a look at the bag with the insert snapped in.  It seriously helps keep everything so easy to find and I love that the insert is machine washable!  Bonus!

The back has the big pocket that opens right under the top D-ring.  Then there are the other two D-rings that attach to the messenger strap to make the bag into a back pack!  I love wearing my bags back pack style!  I think it's my favorite because then I can be hands free and the weight of the bag is distributed evenly.  I do need to mention that I like that my Madeline bag lays flatter against my back and this one sticks out more because of the hard rectangular bottom.  It reminds me a little of the Ju Ju Be BFF in the way that is feels on my back.  The other ways you can carry the bag are messenger style, or under the crook of your arm with the grab handles that are on top.

The grab handles on top are not my favorite.  I wish they had some hardware near their base so that the handles would lay flat when they are not in use.  I also wish they were longer because then the bag could be worn over the shoulder, which I like to do from time to time.

And of course it comes in the beautiful dust cover that will keep it nice and safe when it's not in use.  I love when companies give me a bag for my bag:)

Overall I think this is a great option for someone who is looking to carry what looks like a large purse, but with all the function and organization of a diaper bag.  The back pack option on these Lily Jade bags makes a world of difference.  They can be pricey, but they are made of excellent quality materials that will last for many years.

Cons:
